Car company Ford and audio company B & O have teamed up to bring the best in car audio for this well-known car brand. The innovations come with Ford teaming up with Harman’s subsidiary B & O to bring a range of different sound systems to this year’s Ford cars. Their aim is to research and explore how each vehicle in the Ford range can have a different sound profile, reflecting the personality of each car model with the signature car audio installations sound.

The company is so wealthy that it even has stakes in the expensive and glitzy Aston Martin range. The company was founded by Henry Ford, his family still having minority ownership but majority voting power. Ford is a well-known racing car manufacturer and has had recent innovations in the area of alternative fossil fuel vehicles. These have been created using compressed natural gas which has two different fuel tanks which separate gasoline from the CNG and mean that the engine can operate on either gas through a selector switch and therefore reduces the carbon footprint of the vehicle.

B&O

Bang and Olufsen hail from Denmark and create electronics and audio products, including televisions and telephones. The company was founded by Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen in 1925, their first product being a radio with an alternating current, bucking the trend when most radios were run on batteries. The company continue to buck the trend, finding new innovations in boutique and high end sound systems, leading to their winning many awards for their speaker products which have, before Ford, been used for Audi, Aston Martin and Mercedes-Benz cars. BMW and Bowers & Wilkins

BMW and Bowers and Wilkins have teamed up to create a beautiful new sound system for BMW’s 2017 7 series. This is known as the Diamond Surround Sound System and is innovative and revolutionary in its industry level technologies involving acoustics and domed speakers.
